Maths Week Scotland is a week of events and activities dedicated to the maths that is all around us, with special events throughout the year. The 2024 edition will take place Monday 23 September – Sunday 29 September around the theme “Maths Tales”.

The Data Education in Schools team will be supporting the delivery of exciting data-themed events for primary and secondary school learners. Explore this year’s offer of data-theme activities.


Meet the Author: If the World Were a Village

Attend this interactive workshop with David Smith, author of “If the World Were a Village”. His book presents the concept notion of global population statistics in an easy and compelling way by imagining the world as a village of 100 people.
