On the 2nd September 2025, our team members Kate Farrell and Jasmeen Kanwal were speakers at the Royal Statistical Society International Conference in Edinburgh, a well-attended event for professionals, researchers, students and all interested in learning about the impactful application of statistics and data science.
Our colleagues presented the paper “Datify a Nation! Integrating Data Literacy across the Scottish School Curriculum”, in which they provided an overview of the ways in which the Data Education in Schools team has approached integration of Data Literacy and Data Science across the school curriculum in Scotland. The paper offered examples of successful and less successful approaches, with the aim to inspire organisations with similar goals.
