About our Team

The Data Education in Schools team brings together leading educational researchers, professional learning and digital skills consultants working towards a vision of improved data literacy across Scotland.

We are part of Moray House School of Education and Sport and based within the Centre for Research in Digital Education and the Edinburgh Futures Institute.

We work with colleagues both within Moray House and across a range of other University of Edinburgh schools and colleges to bring together widest expertise in develop data literacy and data citizenship skills.

About our Project

The Data Education in Schools project is part of the Edinburgh and South East Scotland City Region Deal Data Skills Programme, funded by the Scottish and UK Government. The Data Skills Programme brings together industry, universities, colleges, schools and others to provide routes into data or digital careers.
