Educators from all over Scotland and beyond gathered together last week to find out about the National Progression Award in Data Science and the new Educator and Learner Guides.
Presenting the webinar, we had the authors of the guides, Kate Farrell (University of Edinburgh) and Jo Watts (Effini) talking about the course and the support available to centres.
Bobby Elliott from SQA introduced the NPA qualification and told educators about the success of NPAs. He explained how assessment works with the NPA courses.
Mark Davidson from Newbattle High School and Fraser McKay from St John Oglivie’s High School talked about their experiences delivering the course at different levels and about progression from BGE and through the levels of the NPA.
