In collaboration with Scottish Government and Education Scotland, we have developed a new curriculum framework for AI education in Scotland, as well as a set of high quality, cross-curricular resources for teaching with and about AI in Primary. In this session you will get a chance to try out some of these hands-on activities, including “unplugged” activities that don’t require access to any AI tools. We will also look at the lessons from the Children’s Parliament for P5-7. Topics include the basics of how AI works, ethical and sustainability issues around AI, critical thinking, and how AI can be used to support learning in different subject areas.
