The University of Oxford and University of Edinburgh are delighted to invite you to an interactive one-day workshop to reflect on the design and use of EdTech in secondary schools.
We welcome current/former/student teachers of any subject/position with an interest in how EdTech is used in schools, as well as representatives from EdTech companies.
Drawing on findings from the EdTech Equity project, which explores the relationships between technology and equity in schools across England, we invite secondary school teachers (of any subject/position) and representatives from EdTech companies to:
- build connections with a diverse group of teachers and designers of EdTech;
- think collaboratively about EdTech design and its use in school contexts;
- articulate hopes and fears for future EdTech use in secondary schools;
- serve as expert participants in important University of Oxford research.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided, and we are able to cover the costs of local travel and parking. We will also be able to provide the cost of teaching supply cover to your school, or offer a £50 voucher to be spent on school library books.
Places are limited, so visit the EdTech Equity website for more information or register to attend.
Please contact edtechequity@education.ox.ac.uk with any questions.
We hope to see you there.
