This interactive session will help teachers explore issues around refugees and migration in the classroom, empowering learners with the data literacy skills to critically assess claims they come across in the media.

Scotdec and the Data Education in Schools team will share practical activities and resources on terminology, respectful dialogue, interpreting data and understanding how statistics can be used, or misused, to shape narratives.
