The Data Education in Schools team would like to congratulate their very own Kate Farrell (Director of Curriculum Development and Professional Learning) for winning the “Technology Champion in Education” award at the Scotland Women in Technology Awards 2019.
Scottish Women in Technology (SWiT) recognises the passion, skills and dedication of women in industry and aims to celebrate individuals living in Scotland who work to implement a “diverse and inclusive technology ecosystem”.
Kate was awarded alongside other female technology leaders, whose outstanding work is likely to inspire more young women to pursue a career in technology and innovation. Well done, Kate!
