*THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED BUT WILL BE RESCHEDULED LATE JAN/EARLY FEB*
Find out more about becoming an Internet of Things/Data Skills Industry mentor for an Edinburgh and South East Scotland city region school.

Throughout 2021/22, the DDI programme will begin rolling out Internet of Things sensor networks to 40+ schools across the Edinburgh and South East Scotland city region. Eventually, all 500+ schools across the region will be offered the same network.

We are looking for data and IoT experts across all employment sectors who are willing to volunteer their time to mentor and partner with a primary or secondary school in the region.

Schools will be offered lesson guides to help them integrate the sensor technology into learning and teaching. This series of exciting and interactive classroom activities will build skills, confidence and awareness of real-world data gathering and use.

If you would like to help teachers as they begin using these learning packs or bring knowledge and awareness of how data connects to the world of work – to inspire young learners as they start their journey with data – we would love to hear from you.

Come along to this first information session to learn more about the programme and how you can get involved.
