Teach the Global Goals using data: Water

Have you ever pondered the pond life in your area, chewed over the challenges of plastic in the oceans, or ruminated on robotics for river cleaning?

How can data skills help with these big global and local challenges related to water – from the water we drink to the oceans of water that surround us. The Data Education in Schools team will draw on some of the best available resources and activities that relate to water and data and invite you to come and take a plunge with us to explore and discuss them further.

This event will include contributions and resources from British Geological Survey, the Marine Conservation Society and Easter Bush Science Outreach Centre and will be useful for geography and science educators (upper primary/BGE) looking to develop data skills and literacies with their learners.
