Changes to Computing education are being discussed and we want young people to be in the conversation!

We are working with the British Computer Society (BCS) Scottish Computing Education Committee to set up a Young People’s Advisory Group to learn about what you want to learn in Computing Science and how you want to learn it.

Join us!

We are looking for young people to become members of the advisory group and to participate through:

  • 12 hours of online meetings (approx. 6 x 2-hour meetings after school)
  • Communicating with the group between meetings and completing different activities
  • Supporting other pupils in your school to complete the consultation (5+ hours)
  • Designing a simple creative reports/video to share the learning

Read more about what’s involved in our information sheet.

All young people who participate in the group meetings and support the consultation there will be an honorarium (like a gift) at the end of the process of £240.
