2nd Sep 2026 – AI Readiness in Scottish Schools
This event will report on evidence gathered across eight Scottish local authorities — including perspectives from school leaders, teachers, parents, and learners — which examines Scotland’s preparedness to adopt AI tools across governance, infrastructure, and classroom practice.
8th Oct 2026 – Demystifying AI for Teachers
The session will be led by Teacher Associates from the Centre for Teaching Excellence who will offer practical strategies and approaches for teachers as well as addressing common concerns surrounding GenAI in the classroom.
4th Nov 2026 – Using AI responsibly for ASN Support with Trellis
Trellis has been in use in more than 30 Scottish schools supporting teachers and pupils with additional needs. This session will report on the pilot and rollout of Trellis and hear from teachers on their experiences of using Trellis.
19th Nov 2026 – Youth View: Young people’s voices on social media restrictions in Australia and Scotland
In this session, will hear from young people and researchers in Australia and Scotland to understand the landscape more fully with regards this upcoming legislation and its implications for young people in Scotland. The event is intended to be useful to teachers who want to understand how to help their children and young people prepare for the changes in legislation.
