For Computer Science Week 2024, we delivered an online Escape Room Live Lesson for upper primary/lower secondary students.

Agent K and Agent J – aka our Kate Farrell (Director of Curriculum Development and Professional Learning) and Jasmeen Kanwal (Project Officer) – led the mission to find the Scottish V.I.K.I.N.G.S. secret lair by using data analysis and problem-solving skills.

140 schools attended the live lesson, for a total of around 4000 learners! We are thrilled that so many teachers and students are engaging with our data-themed online interactive activities.

Couldn’t attend but would still like to play the Escape Room? “Find the VIKINGS Secret Lair” can be played asynchronously, by following the instructions and the materials here.  You can also watch the recording of the live lesson, and we hope to release an asynchronous version of the video soon too.

We have also just launched our shiny new Escape Room “Undercover mission in Norway”, composed of seven exciting mini-missions to save the world! Play now. Suitable for P5-7 and S1-3.

Did you know that we have other Escape Rooms awaiting for upper primary and lower secondary learners? Find them all here.
