Moray House Staff and Students Supporting Online Learning by creating Moray House Online.

During early March, schools and universities closed and education for most people changed completely.

The staff and students within Moray House School of Education and Sport came together with a desire to help learners, teachers, parents and carers during the Covid-19 pandemic.

This help initially took the form of a series of online conversations with people working in education around the world, all seeking to share their pandemic experiences and offer knowledge and examples about online learning, blended learning and ways to support the health and wellbeing of young people and their families during a very challenging time.

Moray House Staff and Students Supporting Online Learning

Over time staff from across the University of Edinburgh offered to provide ideas and information that could support home and blended learning in a wide range of subjects. Students developed classroom content and supported the creation of an online identity for this new initiative.

All the work over the last few months has now resulted in the creation of Moray House Online, a blog that aims to provide the best of the university’s schools resources and offer access to help and support.

The blog is maintained by the Data Education in Schools Team.
