The summer issue of Future Scot magazine features an article about the Internet of Things (IoT) network being developed by the University of Edinburgh with £9.5m funding from South-east Scotland City Region Deal.
The article brings together the work of the Data Education in Schools team with an outline of the development of the network by Simon Chapple, Head of Data Technology, and how it will be used in schools across Edinburgh, Fife, West Lothian, Midlothian, East Lothian and the Scottish Borders to support improvements in data literacy.
