British Sign Language glossary project

We're thrilled to have appeared on the BBC news yesterday with our British Sign Language project. The project, initiated by our Director of Curriculum, Kate Farrell and funded by Skills Development Scotland, has brought together colleagues at the University of Edinburgh and tech experts across the UK to develop more than 500 signs covering computer science, cyber security, data science and software development.

‘Digital and Data Champions in Education’ Edinburgh Award

During the academic year 2021/22 Moray House is piloting an exciting new Edinburgh Award for students on Initial Teacher Education programmes and related MSc programmes. This award, the 'Digital and Data Champions in Education' Edinburgh Award, is designed to offer student teachers the opportunities to gain data and digital skills, literacies and pedagogies by engaging with ways to develop, try out and reflect on classroom practices that make use of digital and data approaches.
